Story of the Week
You know what's fascinating about great teachers? They don't just share information — they create paths through it. Think about your favorite teacher from school. Chances are, they had their own special way of breaking down complex topics into bite-sized, memorable pieces.
That's what I want to talk about today: creating your own proprietary frameworks.
In a world filled with endless content and shrinking attention spans, having your own framework isn't just helpful — it's essential. A framework is your unique way of organizing and presenting information that makes complex ideas simple and actionable.
Think of it as your special recipe. Anyone can make spaghetti, but your grandmother's secret sauce? That's different. That's memorable. That's shareable.
Let me show you two frameworks I've developed that demonstrate this perfectly, which I’ve shared in two previous Unstuck Newsletters:
First, there's my BRAND IN A HAND framework. It uses something we all have — our hand — to remember the five key elements of building a brand:
- Pinky: People (who you're serving)
- Ring: Pursuits (their dreams)
- Middle: Problems (their challenges)
- Pointer: Platform (where you guide them)
- Thumb: Products (what brings it all together)
Simple, visual, and impossible to forget, right?
Then there's my SCALE framework for building a team:
- Systemize: Create SOPs for recurring tasks
- Consolidate: Group similar tasks for efficiency
- Automate: Use tools to free up valuable time
- Leverage: Delegate to team members effectively
- Evaluate: Continuously assess and improve
Both frameworks take complex topics (branding and team building) and make them digestible and memorable. They're not just lists — they're tools that stick in your mind and are easy to share with others.
This is also how we teach in our online courses, which is how we have some of the highest completion rates and success stories from our curriculum. If you haven’t already, you should totally check out our community! In fact, on Monday, November 11th, we’ll be announcing some exciting updates and improvements to our offerings and how they will impact your business journey — keep an eye on your inbox for details!
Anyway, back to frameworks…
Here's why frameworks like these matter:
1. They make you memorable
When you have a unique way of teaching something, people remember you not just the information.
2. They build trust
A well-thought-out framework shows that you’ve put real thought into making complex ideas simple for others.
3. They create shareability
When your audience can easily remember and share your ideas, they become your best marketers.
In future newsletters, I'll dive deeper into different types of frameworks. For now, I want you to start thinking about the knowledge you share. What's your special sauce? How could you package your expertise in a way that's uniquely yours?
Remember: Simple + Interesting + Valuable = Memorable.
Your framework is waiting to be discovered.
Stay unstuck.
